2. The short version

All tax calculations run entirely in your browser. The numbers you enter — revenue, expenses, insurance details — are never transmitted to, processed by, or stored on any server. This site sets no cookies and uses no cross-site tracking.

3. Hosting (Cloudflare)

This website is delivered by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you access the site, Cloudflare technically processes connection data (such as your IP address and user agent) to deliver the pages and protect against attacks. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in providing a secure, performant website). Cloudflare is certified under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework; transfers are additionally safeguarded by Standard Contractual Clauses.

4. Analytics (Plausible)

We use Plausible Analytics (Plausible Insights OÜ, Västriku tn 2, 50403 Tartu, Estonia), a privacy-first analytics service hosted in the EU. Plausible uses no cookies and stores no personal data: visits are counted in aggregate, IP addresses are not retained, and no identifier is persisted on your device. We see only anonymous, aggregated statistics (page views, referrer, country, and anonymous feature-interest events). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in understanding aggregate usage of a free tool).

When you click an "I'd use this" button on a planned feature, only the name of that feature is transmitted (processed by Cloudflare, see section 3) and forwarded to us as an e-mail notification — none of the numbers you enter are included.

5. Fonts

All fonts are self-hosted and delivered from this website's own origin. No requests are made to third-party font services.

6. Contact by e-mail

If you contact us by e-mail, the data you provide (your e-mail address and message) is processed solely to handle your inquiry. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), and objection to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — for Berlin: Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit (datenschutz-berlin.de). Note that since this site stores no personal data about you, there is usually nothing to access or erase.
